Medi-Cal is a no-cost/low-cost insurance program for children up to age 21 and pregnant women in families with low income. Medi-Cal provides comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, as well as family planning and prenatal care.
Recent changes in Medi-Cal have made this program more accessible to young children and expectant mothers. There is a new mail-in application and Medi-Cal has increased the qualifying income and no longer considers assets, such as savings accounts, in determining children’s eligibility.
At Susan Polk Insurance Agency, Inc., our mission is to provide access to affordable health care. Because we focus on solving your health care problem rather than what we're selling, we offer both public and private solutions to your situation.
To see if you qualify for Medi-Cal, calculate your gross family income per month. Please note that a pregnant woman and her unborn child are considered two family members.
