–MedicAid must consisst of at least minimum essential coverage.
–Coverage must be included for mental health and substance use, and it must be in parity with other health benefits.
–Beginning January 2015 and annually thereafter, the State shall submit a report that contains the total number of enrolled and newly enrolled inviduals, a description of the outreach and enrollment processes, and any other data to monitor enrollment and retention. The Secretary shall submit an annual report to Congress on the total and new enrollment in Medicaid.
–Modified gross income shall be used by the States to determine eligibility. No expenses will be taken into account; and there will be no assets test.
–Those currently enrolled who would not meet eligibility based on modified gross income will remain eligible until March 31, 2014.
–Former foster children who were under the responsibility of a state for at least six months but who are no longer in such care are eligible to be covered up to age 25.
