–Grants are available to help nursing students, to help those with lesser degrees attain higher degrees, and various loan forgiveness programs.
–Grants are provided to promote healthy behaviors in underserved communities by providing community health workers.
–There is established a United States Public Health Sciences Track (the Track) to graduate annually at least
150 medical students, 10 of whom have scholarships to the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences;
100 dental students
250 nursing students
100 public health students
100 behavioral and mental health professional students
100 physician assistants
50 pharmacy students
This program is overseen by the Surgeon General, who will negotiate with existing schools and professors, although any employees could be paid by the government. The Surgeon General may confer academic titles on the faculty.
