Susan K. Polk, CLU, ChFC, RHU:
Susan received a B.A. in Economics from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. Susan has worked in health and life insurance for over 40 years and opened her own agency in 1988. Starting solo, Susan now has nine employees and has expanded the Group Health insurance division to an adjacent building. From Individual, to Family, Medicare or Group Health Insurance advice; Susan also promotes Life and Long Team Care coverage for her valued clients. Susan has been a featured speaker as a health specialist to community groups, a panel member on health care reform presentations, and as a radio talk show guest dealing with health care issues. She is currently reading the entire Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act--25 pages a day for 100days--and reports on it daily on her Facebook page. She holds the Chartered life underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Registered Health Underwriter designations. When not working, she and her husband Jim are usually playing with their grandchildren. (CA Insurance License No. 0423133)

Steve Polk:
Steve attended Loyola Marymount University on a baseball scholarship, where he majored in Political Science. He spent ten years as a Commodities Broker and then decided to follow the path of his father, James Polk, in the insurance industry. He began as a representative for 21st Century Insurance in Woodland Hills and has joined the family business in San Luis Obispo specializing in Group Health Insurance. When he's off the clock, Steve spends time enjoying the county's generous selection of outdoor activities. (CA Insurance License No. 0F47438)

Teana Fredeen:
Teana received her B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. After college, she worked in technical sales & marketing for 12 years with Ziatech Corporation and then Intel Corporation. After having her two children, Teana returned to the work force part time, in customer service management for Norcast Communications, and then for Cal Poly as an Outreach Coordinator for the College of Engineering where she has directed the EPIC engineering camp for high school students. With her strong background in sales and customer service, Teana is excited to help people with their Life and Long Term Care insurance needs. Teana lives with her husband and two children in San Luis Obispo and enjoys spending time with friends and teaching Ballroom Dancing, which she has been doing for 20 years. Kelly Svevad:
Kelly received her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After graduating from Cal Poly, she accepted a position with a financial planning firm as the Director of Marketing and Events Coordinator for Long Term Care informative dinners. After discovering her love for the insurance industry, Kelly obtained her licenses for health, life and long-term care. Most recently, she was Director of Sales for the Courtyard Marriott for four years. Kelly is excited to join Susan Polk Insurance as the Medicare Sales Administrator She was recently married and in her free time, enjoys running, swimming and cooking. Kelly received her A.A. Degree in Architectural Drafting & CAD from Phoenix Institute of Technology in 1992. Kelly serves as the Medicare Service Representative with pride and dedication. Laurie Tonegato:
Laurie received a B.A. in Liberal Studies from the University of LaVerne and an Elementary Teaching Credential from Chapman University. She worked for State Farm Insurance for nine years before taking several years off to be a stay-at-home mom. Now, after nearly a decade in elementary education, she is thrilled to return to the world of insurance and enjoys offering individual and family health insurance. Laurie Ann graduated from Santa Barbara City College earning a A.A. Degree with a Medical Assistant Certification. She worked in the medical field for six years and then went on to join a local insurance carrier for the next 14 years, specializing in annuities, life and disability income insurance. After joining the Susan Polk Insurance team, Laurie Ann now works in the Group Health Insurance division. Laurie Ann and husband David have two daughters, Heather and Kalie, and is the proud grandmother of twins. In her spare time Laurie Ann enjoys biking, cooking, singing, and babysitting. Susan Lee Vincent:
Susan Lee has a wealth of work experience in community relations, marketing and sales, and human resources. With a career in the Tourism industry she traveled throughout the United States and promoted San Luis Obispo County and the Central Valley as a vacation and meeting destination. At Susan Polk Insurance, Susan Lee is the Office Manager and enjoys public speaking, creative writing, graphic design and attending community events. She cherishes the view of the Pacific Ocean, occasions with her friends, and spending time with her Shiatsu puppy, Polly Rose.
